The New Hampshire MEP is the official representative of the MEP National Network in New Hampshire. Focused on helping small and medium-sized manufacturers generate business results and thrive in today’s technology-driven economy, the MEP National Network comprises the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP), the 51 MEP Centers located in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, and over 1,300 trusted advisors and experts at more than 400 MEP service locations, providing any U.S. manufacturer with access to resources they need to succeed.

NHMEP Supplier Scouting & Matching Program
NHMEP connects businesses with sources that manufacture or distribute products across the country to meet demand. Because NHMEP is part of a national network of MEP centers linked through the US Dept. of Commerce, we have access to thousands of suppliers across the country. Our supply chain experts will work with you to understand your needs and match you with companies with a high potential to provide you with the right supply chain solutions. This is a co-investment referral program led by NHMEP at no cost.

The Community College System of New Hampshire provides quality education in an academic environment small enough to allow individualized attention. New Hampshire Division of Economic Development
Comprised of two centers, the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development focuses on promotional activities nationally and internationally as well as business support services within the state. The mission of the Business Resource Center (www.nheconomy.com) is to expand opportunities in the state through the attraction of new businesses and the expansion of existing businesses while the International Trade Resource Center (www.exportnh.com) works to expand opportunities for New Hampshire companies to the international marketplace.

Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire (BIA)
The Business and Industry Association is New Hampshire’s state chamber of commerce and leading business advocate. Our mission is to promote a healthy business climate and robust economic future for New Hampshire. Through advocacy with state legislators and regulators, we shape business-friendly public policy and provide counterbalance to legislation and regulations that threaten the growth and prosperity of New Hampshire business. BIA represents more than 400 member companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, high technology, software, professional services, financial services, health care, public utilities, hospitality and tourism, higher education, and insurance. Member firms employ 80,000 people throughout the state and contribute $4.5 billion annually to the state’s economy.

Association for Manufacturing Excellence
The Association for Manufacturing Excellence, founded in 1985, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to cultivating understanding, analysis and exchange of productivity methods and their successful application in the pursuit of excellence. We are practitioner-based, and our events and workshops focus on hands-on learning. AME publishes the award-winning Target magazine and puts on several regional and national events each year.
New England Trade Adjustment Assistance Center, Inc. (NETAAC)
NETAAC is a good investment. For 5 years (1997-2001), the New England Trade Adjustment Assistance Center, Inc. (NETAAC) provided 68 New England clients assistance that totaled $4,773,932. This was comprised of $2,314,546 of government expenditures and $2,459,386 of client share expenditures. The map below shows the number of client firms that NETAAC’s programs have assisted in the New England States.

New Hampshire Office of Workforce Opportunity
The Office of Workforce Opportunity is New Hampshire’s statewide workforce board, and is comprised of private industry leaders and state agency officials appointed by the Governor. The Office’s responsibilities include oversight of the state’s 13 NH Works One Stop Career Centers; administration of programs designed to assist employers, including the New Hampshire Job Training Fund; the Rapid Response program, which assists companies and employees facing layoffs and closures; and funding of high school dropout and dropout prevention programs and other youth programs throughout New Hampshire. The Office has been awarded designation for the nation’s next Job Corps Center. The Office works in partnership with state agencies and private industry – and NHMEP – to deliver effective and efficient training and career opportunities for job seekers and employers.
Southern New Hampshire Chapter #253 of The Association for Operations Management (APICS). We are an APICS platinum award chapter. We have been serving the manufacturing and service industries of the Southern New Hampshire Region for over 25 years. We offer education and certification programs – CPIM – Certified in Production and Inventory Management and CSCP -Certified Supply Chain Professional as well as Professional Development Meetings, Networking and Job Listings.
